Pregnant and safe in the lab.
- Authors
Roy, Ken
- Abstract
The article examines the possible health risks related to pregnant teachers working in middle school science laboratories, noting that many middle schools do not address the issue within safety protocols and policies. According to the author, the lack of policies is due to a lack of information and many administrations' views that the laboratories do not contain harmful materials. The author goes on to discuss how teachers can evaluate potential hazards, such as solvents, metallic elements, and radiation.
