- Abstract
The article discusses the benefits of engaging students in lessons about biodiversity through experiential learning outside in a school's yard. It addresses the importance of teaching students about ecology from a young age, the necessity of both species and genetic diversity to the health of the ecosystem, and the recognition of biodiversity.
