- Authors
Subarsky, Zachariah
- Abstract
The article discusses the use of a motion picture film to teach frog dissection to students at Bronx High School of Science in New York City. The film shows the laying out of dissecting instruments, pinning of the frog to a dissecting tray, skin incisions, pinning back of the skin, muscular wall incisions, pinning back of the muscular wall of the abdomen and probing of the alimentary canal. The article suggests that motion pictures are effective as tools for giving laboratory directions in other comparable situations.
