- Title
Computational bioanalysis of proteins.
- Authors
Fischer, Wolfgang B.
- Abstract
The article focuses on computational bioanalysis of proteins. It informs that sensing device is based on membrane proteins, which play an increasing role as drug targets of the future. An alternative route for analysis and screening would be the application of computational methods. Computational methods, once calibrated, are emerging as an essential tool in bioanalysis not only in the case of a single protein-ligand interaction but also in case of high-throughput (virtual- screening) analysis in proteomics.
