- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 68-year-old Korean male who was diagnosed with squamous cell lung cancer in the right lower and left upper lobes. He was diagnosed of fulminant type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). The case demonstrates fulminant T1DM caused by anti-programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) therapy in a patient who had high-risk human leukocyte antigens (HLA) haplotype.
