- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which shows that T helper 9 cells are resident in human skin and that a large proportion are specific for Candida albicans. It states that these cells can increase the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines by other T helper cells. The study found that T helper cells are specific for C. albicans.
