- Abstract
Laser versus sham for genitourinary syndrome of menopause: A randomised controlled trial - Some crucial criticalities Finally, we believe that an 18-month follow-up evaluation is meaningless for two reasons: the assessment questionnaires are different from baseline; and as many authors suggest annual treatment cycles because laser effects decline after a certain time, which is similar to other treatments. Indeed, dryness and dyspareunia are the most common genitourinary syndrome of menopause symptoms and we assume that women complaining of itching, burning and dysuria as MBS are few.
