- Abstract
The article presents a study to know how cultural brokerage is performed by occupational therapists while providing care to immigrant families. It mentions that clinicians used four strategies to overcome cultural and structural constraints encountered by participants including establishing long-term relationships by building trust, working with clients' relational networks and bridging different meanings of occupational therapy.
