- Abstract
The association of SPPD with other segmental inflammatory dermatoses is extremely infrequent; whereas linear morphea on the previous site of SPPD has already been reported,2 the association of SPPD with LS, found in three of our eight patients, has not been published to date. To our knowledge, this is the first report of SPPD in association with LS in the same patient and the second highlighting the relationship with linear morphea. Dear Editor, Pigmented purpuric dermatoses (PPD) are a group of idiopathic inflammatory disorders that rarely present with unilateral segmental distribution.1,2 We conducted a retrospective, observational study of children diagnosed with segmental PPD (SPPD) between January 1, 2008, and August 31, 2020, at the Hospital Universitario Niño Jesus, Madrid, Spain, using a chart search, aimed at characterizing the disorder.
