- Abstract
The article focuses on the poetry written by Phyllis Webb. In the foreword to her book "Wilson's Bowl," Webb wrote that her poems are the result of silence. Her book "Naked Poems" was considered by some readers as a voluntary impoverishment of poetry. Webb wrote almost eighty short poems during the summer of 1963.
