- Abstract
The article compares how the governments in Germany, the U.S. and Great Britain use scientific expertise to understand the novel coronavirus SARS-COV-2 and how to limit its damage. Topics discussed are importance of cooperation between public agencies and private sector organizations for diagnostic testing and a well-trained workforce that administer tests, formulation of policy for responding to the virus, and differences in government strategies for public compliance and communication.
