- Title
The Nurses' Health Study and the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health: Providing Infrastructure for Public Health Research.
- Authors
Dobson, Annette J.; Byles, Julie E.; Brown, Wendy J.
- Abstract
The authors argue that the Nurses' Health Study (NHS) and the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health (ALSWH) provide infrastructure for public health research as of 2016. The ALSWH, which is funded by the Australian government, is designed to examine the social, psychological, and environmental factors that determine good health and cause ill-health in women. The NHS cohort study of married nurses in America is examined, along with information about the origins of diseases.
