- Abstract
The article presents the results from a study conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the influenza vaccination coverage of children aged 6-23 months during influenza season. Data was achieved through six immunization information system sentinel sites. Vaccination coverage varied widely from site to site. Only a small percentage of children in 5 of the sites were fully vaccinated. The authors call for improved measures to increase the amount of children that are fully vaccinated against influenza.
