- Abstract
The article discusses the issues regarding the Islamic position on stem cell study. The issue has become a topic on a meeting arise from the contemporary scientific study which needs religious or ethical responses. The issue has also led mufti to release a fatwā. The fatwā can be issued by muftis if they will know more about stem cells. Moreover, it points out that it is important to draw attention to unexamine question on scientific research in life sciences, while the muftis have deliberated the said issue.
