- Abstract
The research methodology for determining of the environmental stress cracking resistance (ESCR) of polymeric injection molding parts was proposed. The investigations of ESCR were carried out on the original laboratory stand. For the tests samples prepared in accordance with the standards (ISO 22088 and ISO 16770) and real objects (threaded closures) were used. The values of destruction time of samples were determined using both stable and variable loads. Studies have shown that ESCR of prepared samples depends on both their design and material properties.
