- Abstract
This document is an abstract supplement from the Journal of Clinical & Translational Science. It includes summaries of three different research studies. The first study investigates the correlation between maternal HbA1c and umbilical cord insulin levels with neonatal glycemic change and placental response to glucose in infants of diabetic mothers. The second study explores the role of O- linked N- Acetylglucosamine ( O- GlcNAc) in pulmonary fibrosis and identifies OGT as a potential therapeutic target. The third study aims to develop a pipeline for automated segmentation of bone removed during cortical mastoidectomy using deep learning, with the goal of improving patient safety during surgery.
