- Abstract
The article explores the topic of when to consider a work of art finished. The author contends that publication of an artwork is sufficient to call it finished and reflects on what that might mean for public works of art. The author concludes that changes to a finished work of art result in a different work of art. Other topics include the coercion and consent of artists.
