- Authors
Estrela, Sandra
- Abstract
The article deals with the role of the Interuniversity Research Centre for the Life Cycle of Products, Processes and Services (CIRAIG) in promoting life cycle assessment (LCA) in Canada. The academic sector has been instilling life cycle thinking into school curricula at the secondary, college, and university levels. CIRAIG aims to overcome the methodological restrictions in LCA and create life cycle knowledge and tools. The Athena Sustainable Materials Institute and the Pembina Institute helped promote LCA in Canada.
