- Abstract
The article focuses on a study examining the seroprevalence of the Zika virus among healthy children in Indonesia from the ages of one to four. It states that serum samples from 30 urban sites in Indonesia were assembled in 2014 with 9.1 percent of the 662 samples testing as seropositive for the Zika virus. It comments that asymptomatic infection is common and can be misdiagnosed as dengue. It speculates that a primary Zika viral infection could result in lifelong immunity.
