- Abstract
The authors comment on the response of rheumatology health professionals to the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and which led to the establishment of the COVID-19 Global Rheumatology Alliance (GRA). Topics covered include the three reasons behind the importance of understanding how COVID-19 may impact people with rheumatic diseases, potential avenues of work and investigation identified by GRA, and the fundamental principle guiding the decision-making of GRA Steering Committee.
