- Abstract
The article discusses a guideline for the management of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in adults issued by the British Society for Rheumatology. The guideline includes the incidence of SLE in different ancestries and the relapse and remission of the disease. It provides recommendations for the diagnosis, assessment and monitoring of SLE and discusses the effectiveness and side effects of drugs for the disease.
