- Abstract
The article reports on a survey of companies conducted by the U.S.-China Business Council (USCBC) in August 2013. According to the survey, administrative licensing has been a top concern of U.S. companies operating in China for some time because of significant delays and added costs. Administrative licensing from selling products to building manufacturing facilities in China has ranked among the top three concerns each year since 2006 by USCBC member companies. Respondents of the survey said that they frequently encounter problems in transparency, expert panel reviews, disclosure requirements, third-party consultant recommendations.
