- Abstract
This document is a correction notice for an article titled "Microbial metabolite trimethylamine-N-oxide induces intestinal carcinogenesis through inhibiting farnesoid X receptor signaling" published in Cellular Oncology. The correction addresses errors in the abstract and figures of the original article. Specifically, the correction clarifies that the changes induced by trimethylamine-N-oxide (TMAO) in the intestinal microbial community structure resulted in reduced beneficial bacteria, not reduced microbiota diversity. Additionally, there were errors in the representative pictures and data in Figure 2e and 2g, which have been corrected. The correction also includes revisions to the description of the Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes (F/B) ratio and the number of unique operational taxonomic units (OTUs) detected in the study. The original article has been corrected.
