- Abstract
This article discusses a study which investigated the social psychological and organizational factors concerning recovery from stress and trauma as a consequence of criminal victimization. The study examined two groups of criminals and applied control processes. It demonstrated the theoretical implications of victimization. It also revealed ideas that may form the basis for effective therapeutic and procedural interventions. The study suggested to use an integrated model of criminal victimization in other studies.
