- Abstract
The article presents an Association for Peripheral Nerve (ASPN) referral study which is aimed to describe referral completion from the views of patients and family medicine physicians in the U.S. It observed 776 referred patients from the offices of 133 physicians who all completed questionnaires and about eight in ten patients completed a referral within three months. Referral completion rates can be increased through scheduling the patient's appointments and promote the continuity of care.
