- Abstract
The article presents a study which looks into the relation of barley kernel hardness with other physical grain traits and food processing parameters. The study discovers that the single kernel characterization system hardness index (SKCS-HI) has no relationship with kernel crease dimensions. However, it discovers that hardness index is correlated with both proportion of barley flour particles and starch damage.
