- Abstract
The article presents research on the use of two-dimensional (2D) radial acquisition technique in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It relates that conventional 2D radial projections suffer signal-to-noise ratio inefficiency due to nonuniform k-space sampling. It tells that a 2D projection reconstruction method with variable gradient amplitudes was conducted to cover the k-space uniformly. It concludes that 2D radial trajectory technique provides higher signal-to-noise ratio, less blurring, and fewer artifacts.
