- Title
RNA interference: MicroRNAs as biomarkers.
- Abstract
The article focuses on microRNA as biochemical markers. It relates the study by Todd Golub which points out that the use of microRNA offers a better classification of tumors by type. Carlo Croce, director of the Human Cancer Genetics Program at Ohio State University, says that microRNA is useful for prognostic and diagnostic purposes. It also cites two companies that offer service for microRNA testing, such as Rosetta Genomics Ltd. in Rehovot, Israel and Asuragen Inc. in Austin, Texas.
