The article highlights the role of the Franciscans of Mount Zion in welcoming and guiding pilgrims in the Holy Land. It discusses that Franciscans in Jerusalem maintained a library on Mount Zion that could be accessed by the pilgrims. It mentions the Francis, of Assisi encounter with the sultan of Egypt, Al-Kamil.
