- Abstract
The article looks at Ahmad al-Ru¯mý¯ al-A¯ qh: is:a¯r¯ý's vision of the spiritual path as one in which aspects of Naqshbandý¯ tasawwuf and elements of scholar Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya's critique of Sufism converge in a distinctive vision.
