The article examines the unsettled issue of the scope of liability under Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Rule 10b-5 in the Indiana Supreme Court securities regulation case Leidos Inc. v. Indiana Public Retirement System. Topics include the reason for the court's dismissal of the case, the allegations of several retirement funds against Leidos, and facts about the case.
