- Abstract
A two year old male labrador dog weighing around 18 kg was presented to the Veterinary Dispensary-Puthiyamputhur, Tuticorin with a history of anuria and dribbling urine for the past six months. A clinical examination of the animal revealed congested mucous membrane, ptyalism, restlessness, normal abdomen and severely dehydrated. On clinical examination, undescend of the right testicle noticed. Under general anaesthesia, the retained testicle and descended testicle were removed by the prescrotal method. After routine care and management, the animal showed uneventful recovery.
