The article presents a speech by Anthony Wilson, President of the Huguenot Society of Great Britain, on the lives and genealogy of politicians William and Edward Pleydell-Bouverie. Particular focus is given to their political careers in the British House of Commons and to the family's Huguenot origins. Topics discussed include the Whig party, the Liberal Party, and the Pleydell-Bouverie family home in Wiltshire, England.
