- Authors
Traynor, Kate
- Abstract
The article presents information on a survey related to seasonal influenza vaccination of medical care personnel in the U.S. According to the survey conducted by nonprofit organization Rand Corp., 49% of the health care workers reported being vaccinated against the disease by mid-November 2009, and another 12% are planning to be vaccinated. It also suggests that the U.S. is likely to meet its "Healthy People 2010" goal by achieving a 60% influenza vaccination rate among health care workers.
