- Abstract
The article provides information on a study which determined the ammonia (NH3)-dependent Deinococcus radiodurans (dra) nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide+ synthetase (NADS) in apo form and the substrate binding sites of nicotinic acid adenine dinucleotide (NaAD) and adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Topics discussed include crystallization, protein expression and purification, and crystal structure of the draNADS.
