- Abstract
The article presents the case of a five-year-old boy who has nephrotic syndrome complicated with acute acalculous cholecystitis (AAC). According to the author, nephrotic syndrome is described by generalized edema, proteinuria, and hypoalbuminemia. The patient experienced acute abdominal pain and vomiting and was diagnosed with AAC on ultrasonography.
