- Abstract
The article examines the application of venous-arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide (CO2) in consecutive patients admitted at intensive care unit following an elective cardiac surgery. Information about the outcome of CO2 gradient in the clinical setting, is provided. An overview on the complex relationship between the concentration and pressure, is also emphasized.
