- Abstract
The article discusses a study which explores on the temporal and spatial dynamics of key water balance components of the Nile River. It notes that satellite-derived rainfall and other key weather variables derived from the Global Data Assimilation System are used in the study to estimate and map the distribution of rainfall, actual evapotranspiration (ETa) and runoff. It is stated that the results of the study will provide important information for the management of the river's water resources.
