- Abstract
The authors reflect on the problems concerning the American Heart Association (AHA) Presidential Advisory Committee's report on sodium restriction. They state that the advisory did not undertake a systematic literature review to gather proper meta-analyses on sodium reduction. Several issues of the report include blood pressure impacts, insulin resistance, and cardiovascular results.
