- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the neuroprotective effect from the exertion of the Eleutheroside B against 1-methyl-4- phenylpyridinium ion (MPP+) apoptosis in PC12 cells. The viability of PC12 cells and apoptosis were monitored by flow cytometry, where the release of lactate dehydrogenase and malondialdehyde were determined by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. Result shows that the anti-oxidative stress capacity of cells has increased and intracellular calcium has reduced.
