- Abstract
The article provides information and therapeutics of diabetic kidney disease in the U.S. It states that diabetes is a major cause of end kidney failure throughout the world in both developed and emerging nations. It infers that the disease could be treated using an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. The steps taken to prevent the disease are creening for early diabetic kidney disease, increasing patient awareness of kidney disease, using medications of proven strategy and researching and trialing of new therapies.
