- Title
TWELVE INJURED MEN: WHY INJURED JURORS SHOULD NOT RECEIVE WORKERS' COMPENSATION COVERAGE FROM THE COURTS.
- Authors
BARON, COREY
- Abstract
The article argues that New York legislature should include a provision to the Workers' Compensation Act that precludes jurors from coverage. Topics discussed include an overview of the workers' compensation law and the policies underlying the advent of workers' compensation statutes, several methods for determining whether jurors are entitled to workers' compensation coverage and suggestion for an additional statutory clause that precludes jurors from eligibility for workers' compensation.
