- Title
RESPONSE TO THERAPY: BIOMARKERS FOR INTERFERON TREATMENT.
- Authors
Rudick, R. A.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the longitudinal clinical study that addresses the gaps in the knowledge about interferon beta (INF-b) therapeutics in multiple sclerosis (MS). The study is based on the assumption that protein products of interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs) mediate beneficial and deleterious clinical effects of IFN-b in MS. The primary molecular response to IFN-b is being determined using customized cDNA macroarrays containing approximately 200 ISGs.
