- Abstract
An editorial is presented on the evaluation of cardiac magnetic resonance feature tracking (CMR-FT) derived strain in patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), highlighting the correlation between strain parameters and clinical significance in STEMI patients. It further include the advantages of myocardial strain as a direct measure of myocardial deformation for assessing left ventricular (LV) function, overcoming limitations of conventional LV ejection fraction (EF).
