- Authors
Hudson Jr., David L.
- Abstract
The article discusses the clauses of the First Amendment Law passed by the U.S. Supreme Court which does not state nude dancing and the other adult business as an illegal action. It states that the Court has used the adult business under the secondary effects doctrine and not as obscenity and allows the government officials to claim against person claiming the adult business as an illegal action. It states that an ordinance was passed by the city of Detroit, Michigan prohibiting adult business within residential area but it was rejected by the U.S. Supreme Court. It informs that adult business litigation should be passed by the Court to abandon the secondary effects doctrine.
