- Abstract
The article offers information on the study of medical students' knowledge and familiarity with visual impairments. It reports that the study, which was approved by the Florida State University Institutional Review Board, involved medical students from different medical colleges with preclinical and clinical experiences. The survey used is reported to be based from the ophthalmology curriculum taken by the participants. It states that it was conducted to asses the knowledge of the future physicians to be able to deliver quality care for the visually impaired. Results of the study are also presented.
