- Abstract
The main aim of this research is to examine relationship between critical thinking attitudes of preschool teachers and professional ethical principles they perceive. The relational screening model was used in the research. The research sample consists of 500 preschool teachers working in 49 preschool education institutions (27 public and 22 private) in 4 provinces of İstanbul (Ümraniye, Başakşehir, Bağcılar, Küçükçekmece) in 2016-2017 academic year. The results obtained from the research are as follows: Significant relationship was detected between the critical thinking attitudes of preschool teachers and the Professional ethical principles they perceive. The critical thinking attitudes of preschool teachers do not vary by the occupational seniority. The critical thinking attitudes of preschool teachers vary by the type of institution they work and marital status. The Professional ethical principles that preschool teachers perceive do not vary by the occupational seniority, type of institution they work and marital status.
