- Abstract
The authors discuss the hybrid approach in modeling cellular signaling. The authors explain that the computational approach implemented in the software platform Simmune provides a flexible graphical interface for constructing and simulating biochemical reactions and the effects of chemical reactions on cells and tissues. The authors cite that Simmune should expand the scope of spatial models of cellular signaling because there are still many unresolved challenges in building spatial models.
