- Abstract
The article discusses a study that evaluates the effect of encapsulation of rifabutin and anti-HIV drug, ritonavir, in poly (lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) nanoparticles on the drug interaction exhibited by the drugs. The study examines the blood samples following the administration of the two drugs. It also reveals the potential of the PLGA nanoparticle formulation to minimize drug interactions between the drugs.
