- Abstract

It emphasizes the importance of reliable and objective information in guiding students' decision-making process. The article provides evidence-informed responses to common questions that students have about applying to EM residency programs, such as where to find trustworthy resources and how to select potential programs. It also highlights the factors that EM programs consider when evaluating applicants, including clinical performance, grades, and exam scores. The authors stress the need for students to stay updated on current trends and seek individualized advising to navigate the complex residency application process successfully.
